Breakfast:
Yogurt and Oatmeal
Lunch:
Turkey Sandwich and small salad
Snack:
Apple
Dinner:
One boneless lean porkchop (grilled)
Turnips
Applesauce
Exercise: 3-mile brisk walk with Lola the Pug.
Notes: I really wanted to run or do something more, but once I was out and about, I just couldn't seem to light a fire under my ass to move faster. As it was, I walked pretty quickly because I was dressed for running (in other words, not very warmly) and it was relatively chilly -- in the low 40s.

A New Beginning: 2005
I need to start updating this space again. If you were following my workouts here, you would think that I had done nothing at all since August, and that totally is not true. However, I believe by logging it in somewhere, my workouts and training tend to stay more on track, so I want to get back to writing it all down. I am also logging my stuff in a paper calendar that I carry around with me. Here is what I wrote for January 11th in the calendar:
Breakfast:
Yogurt & Oatmeal
Lunch:
Turkey Sandwich & small salad
Snack:
Apple
Dinner:
Grilled Salmon & Asparagus
Exercise:
2 miles running (with walk breaks) at varying speeds - 30 minutes.
20 minutes on the elliptical: Levels 4 & 5.
Notes:
Running was hard & boring on the treadmill, but made a little easier by using the MP3 player. Ran a few intervals as the music tempo changed.
Drank a lot of water for the day and got in all of my vitamins.
Was hungry at the end of the day.
