Spinning:
Went to spinning class tonight even though I was heartily trying to talk myself out of it. There was a sub tonight and I found him to be a refreshing change, but I think he was a little easier than our usual Thursday night instructor. In any case, it was welcome because I find myself exhausted this week. So it was just enough of an effort to feel really good, but not so much that it was overwhelming or left me feeling like a wet noodle or something.

Week 13
Running:
Because of dire warnings of severe storms due here in NYC, I blew off my last running class and instead came home and ran in Forest Park (figured I'd at least be close to home if the skies opened up). I'm sorry to say that I had a pretty shitty run though. The first 12 or 15 minutes of it went okay, but after that I just couldn't seem to hold it together at all, not sure why, maybe because of the high humidity (and heat) here today. Oh and everything hurt tonight. Inside of my shins, my knees, my left calf, hips. What a mess I am. So I'm disappointed, but only a little discouraged.
